Howe Appraisal Associates has been in business since 1976 serving the Northern Virginia market. Presently, Byron H. Howe, SRA is the principal of Howe Appraisal Associates and the principal broker of Howe Real Estate Group, LLC, located in Annandale, Va. His association with the organizations has included experience in the sale, management, developing & building and appraisal of real estate. Byron has been a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser in Virginia since the enactment of licensing in 1992. He was awarded in SRA designation by the Appraisal Institute (formerly the Society of Real Estate Appraisers) in 1989 and is a Life Member.

Valuations
Appraisal assignments executed by Byron cover the valuation of all types of properties. Appraisals have been performed for various government departments in Arlington, Alexandria, Fairfax and Loudoun Counties, commercial banks, individuals, estates, corporations, legal and accounting firms, the Dept. of Housing and Urban Development, the Virginia Department of Transportation, US Army Corps of Engineers and the Federal Aviation Administration.

Currently licensed as a real estate broker by the Virginia Real Estate Commission. Actively engaged in the sale and leasing of residential and commercial properties in Northern Virginia as the principal broker/owner of Howe Real Estate Group, LLC. Byron is a Pioneer Member of the Northern VA Association of Realtors. Education includes a BS in Business Administration from The American University, Washington, D.C. and a Master of Science in Real Estate and Urban Development earned in 1987. Byron has completed courses of study in Real Estate Principles, Finance, Urban Development, Housing Economics, Market Analysis, Real Estate Law, Real Estate Investment and Construction. Additional education includes; Appraising Green Buildings (Residential and Commercial), Commercial Courses 101-104 and Financial Analysis for Real Estate Development by the CCIM Institute, Tax Considerations in Real Estate and Continuing Education requirements for the A.I., Real Estate Appraiser Board and Real Estate Board of Virginia.
